NORDIC CULTURAL FUND


Geographic focus: Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Island, Norway et Sweden)/autonomous areas (Faroe Islands, Greenland and Aland Islands).


The purpose of the Nordic Cultural Fund is to promote cultural cooperation between the Nordic countries, including the autonomous areas.

Activities :

- Culture and arts : theatre, dance, literature, music, new medias.

- Education/Research : cultural politics, cultural pedagogy as well as cultural education.

Projects between the Nordic region, the Baltic States and north-west Russia, or projects involving the Nordic region and the rest of Europe.

Type of support :

Grants : between 100.000 and 500.000 DKK.
Exceptionally, the Foundation might help up to 85% of the budget.

- Collective initiatives
- Individuals

Procedures :

At least three Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Island, Norway et Sweden)/autonomous areas (Faroe Islands, Greenland and Aland Islands)must be involved.

The application form must present the programmation on the two years coming.
Grants are not awarded to projects that have commenced before the Nordic Cultural Fund has managed to make a decision.

For a financial support of 100.000 DKK :

- february, march, april the 1st

- august, september, october the 1st

For a financial support of more than 100.000 DKK :

- february the 1st

- september the 1st
