INTERNATIONAL VISEGRAD FUND


Geographic focus: Visegrad countries (the Czech Republic, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Poland, and the Slovak Republic).


International Visegrad Fund purpose is to promote regional cooperation among Visegrad countries (the Czech Republic, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Poland, and the Slovak Republic) through various activities.

Activities :

- Cultural cooperation

- Science : scientific exchanges and research

- Education : Intra-Visegrad Scholarship - Visegrad studies
Out-going Scholarship - European studies

- Exchanges between young people

- Cross border cooperation

Type of support:

- Standard grants : Annual Budget of the Fund will consist of at least Euro 2.000.000.

- Small grants : Annual Budget of 2003 for the Small Grants consists of Euro 320.000.

- Scholarships

Public :

Legal entity (organization) or natural person (citizen) residential in V4 Member States.

Procedures :

Project form accessible at the secretariat of the Fund or on the web site.
Deadlines for small grants: March 15, June 15, September 15 and December 15, every year.
Deadlines for standard grants : March 15 and September 15.
Usually: 12 months of budget. An Applicant may apply for financial support for further financing.

Fund shall not support projects in which less than three countries are involved, except projects in the field of cross-border cooperation.

Languages accepted : English.
