VIDÉO / CALL FOR PROPOSALS - PÉPINIÈRES EUROPÉENNES POUR JEUNES ARTISTES
The Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes are organizing, as part of the Fipa (International Festival of audio-visual programs), " BZZZ " jeune vidéo - " BZZZ " emerging video intended to present new emerging tendencies in video art and to promote the new talents involved in the same.
This undertaking will present a selection of videos focusing, in the largest possible sense, on the question of fiction and of reality bearing witness to these new approaches. At the same time, it will also consecrate space to video dance, to the extent that such videos are compatible with the overall theme and tone of the program.
To realize the above vision, the Pépinières propose a " Night of emerging video " that will take place the 16th of December 2004 at the site of the Pépinières in the Injep, Marly le Roi, France. A pre-selection of videos showcased in this night will be presented in the Fipa the 21st and 22nd of January 2005 in Biarritz, France.
Candidates wishing to participate in this undertaking need to submit their material for consideration by no later than the 30th of November 2004.
