Description
The Drum is the National Centre for Black British culture and arts.
Dedicated to developing and promoting contemporary art and culture of British African, Asian and Caribbean communities. Through it’s various initiatives, The Drum, located in Aston, Birmingham, will continually strive to become a centre of National and International renown; firmly rooted within its local community.
The Drum aims to:
Support the development of contemporary Black artistic practice;
Involve people from every section of the community in cultural activities that educate, inform, entertain, challenge and delight them.

A flexible theatre, seating 360 people and 650 standing

All our facilities are available for hire for conferences, seminars, community events and celebrations.
