THE LATIN AMERICAN NETWORK OF ART FOR SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION
In April 2005 a meeting of The Latin American Network of Art for Social Transformation
To familiarize members of the network- on site - with the Chilean experience
To plan the next Network visits (to Bolivia and possibly Uruguay)
To work on the future activities and structuring of the Network, such as:
— The conception of a Art for Social Transformation Festival in Latin America
— The establishment of further links and exchanges between Latin America and Europe
Within the context of this discussion, we would like to represent the visions and interest of artists, institutions, scholars, professionals and networks from Europe which participated in the meeting organized during the “Recontres de la Villette Hors les murs 2004†of the people interviewed in Lille and Paris but also people concerned by this issue.
