A SOUTH-SOUTH EXCHANGE NETWORK; IT’S CREDO: CULTURAL MEDIATION
Cooperation opportunities - and, as a consequence, opportunities of cultural activities development exist. But Until now, an exchange frame gathering the actors of the African culture was missing. The few attempts of gathering did not go beyond local actions. Over the last ten years, the Group 30-Africa has committed itself to this matter with greater ambitions for the sake of African artists in priority.
Development also means communication. The founders of Groupe 30-Africa are aware of that. After ten years of action - With all the difficulties linked to the set up of a network in Africa -They are very ambitious for their project: they will provide an internet site and other means to improve communication. Moreover, they publish Papaye, a newsletter edited and distributed by the Group 30 as well as guides listing all cultural associations.
The Group 30-Africa is already represented in 20 African countries and intend to expand the network to all countries of the continent.
