Fundatia Pentru O Societate Deschisa aims at supporting the development of civil society in Romania by upholding the values of freedom, democracy and the rule of law; respecting human rights and minorities.

Society : enhancement of public opinion
Minorities activities : *Health Assistance for Roma Communities, all medical services available, to lower the number of deaths, to decrease the rate of abortions and increase the use of family planning methods.
*Education, support services for children on an individual basis, to encourage them to enter higher education.
Type of support: scholarships, grants for disadvantaged families
*Integration, reintegrate members of the Roma community into the life of society, same access to civil society resources and public institutions.
*Mass Media, allow Roma leaders to discuss the way in which their people are portrayed by the press, and for the press to learn about the problems that face this group of people.
