The association has rented since november 2003, from a private owner, an industrial warehouse of 3 200 m2 situated in Aubervilliers, in the northern suburbs of Paris, an area popular and multicultural, classed as a “urban refurbishment area”. This project stands on 3 objectives :

The Villa provides various spaces (offices, workshops...), and houses about fifty artists. The Villa strives to achieve collaborative relations between its permanent residents, and provide them notably diverse spaces and services : workshop costumery, carpentry, hostel...
2) There are also diverse spaces available to welcome creators on temporary residence (weeks or months).
3) It develops a cultural programmation open to the local neighbourhood (from all cultural and social origins) : concerts, cinema, open dinners, workshops, debates, festive events, carnavals,... Therefore contributing to the access to artistic disciplines and intercultural dialogue for marginalized populations. Finaly to offer an alternative to open closed communities.
Entirely self-managed, the villa has fonctionned until now without any public funding, asking largely the good will and voluntary work of its members. However, local authorities and state departements are today being asked to participate in financing the restructuring and the bringing up to standard of the equipement.
